Size/Medium : 750 x 500mm: acrylic on canvas Painting
This is a story about Eva’s grandfather and his family. A long time ago when they went hunting around the country Yurrutut, near Kiwirrkurra, the family would make a wind break and wait for their grandfather to hunt. He would wait by the billibong and cover himself in mud, so the kangaroos couldn’t smell him. When the kangaroo came to drink some water, her grandfather would spear the roo and take it back to his family. They would then make a fire and have a big feed. Palya.
