Artist : LUCY LOOMOO
Title : Yuluntjiti
Size/Medium : 450 x 300mm: acrylic on linen Painting
This painting depicts some of Lucy’s parent’s country named Yuluntjiti and located a long way south of Balgo, along the Canning Stock Route in the Great Sandy Desert. The central circle represents a rock hole, the many dots surrounding the rock hole indicates the abundance of mangari (food) found in the area, particularly yarla (potato). Loomoo says the water and stones around the rockhole are a very pretty colour.
