Here Miriam paints her uncle’s country, Nyilla near Jupiter Well. The painting offers a panoramic view of the land which is marked by its deep red sand and rows of high sandhills. The painting shows all the camps Miriam’s uncle and his family used to use in olden times and the paths that they used to follow. Water sources of various types would be found amongst the sandhills and there are occasional trees. Miriam’s uncle is renowned Warlayirti artist Wimmitji (dec).
