Eva has painted Old Balgo, the country of her childhood where she grew up on the mission. When she was young she would walk around looking for mangarri (bush tucker), including Yinkarra and Itikatji (bush seeds and nuts). Ants collect all the seeds, and women would go looking for the ants because they had already collected the seeds and put them in piles.
