Sadie has painted a story from her mother’s country. This is the stroy about the Ngundarlala This story is camel dreaming. In each of the rockholes there are camel tjina (camel footprints). Sadie says “Cames smell them and put those two feet in the mud. Smell them drinking water. Kalyu.” The outside of the painting (brown and yellow) is dry country. Inside, near the rockholes, is the green plain country. The pink circles are waterholes gone dry. Wiya kalyu. (No water).
