This is Lucy’s mother and father’s country and is named Yuluntjiti. This country is a long way south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. Lucy has painted kalyu Tjukurrpa (water Dreaming). The two central circles are an important rockhole that was a vital source of water for her family. These waterholes are a spring water which means they are living and never runs dry. The surrounding lines indicate tali (sanddunes) which are dominant in this country. Lucy explains there is plenty of food in this country such as kantjilyi (bush raisin), wangunu, kanpi, mankurrpa, kalkurra or walku (bush apple).
