Description
Artist : LUCY LOOMOO
Title : Yinrangarri
Size/Medium : 900 x 600mm: acrylic on canvas Painting
Lucy has depicted some of her country south of Balgo, along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. This country here is called Yinrangarri after the prominent warniri (rockhole) depicted in the centre of this painting. This warniri is an Yinta or living water and always has a reliable source of water. The many dots represent the variety of mangarri (bushtucker) found in this country, including pura (bush tomato), kantjilyi (bush raisin) and walku (bush apple)
